It does feel like it's a "put one out, another pops up" scenario. So, well done sir!
Wildfires are a sore spot, as BC has had its share. I spoke with an old friend in Manitouwadge Ont. on the wknd & he said they could smell the smoke on the air. It's extremely dry up there now.
Sadly, Donald Trump's anti-environment/climate change agenda will affect Canada, too.
Hey I'm in my 70's and have been worried about our man made messes since I was in high school. First it was water polluted with crappy chemicals, then it was smog from too much traffic and now it mother nature that's pretty angry with all of us for what we've done.
So do we and we have those fires as well! Wasn't trying to be unkind. It's not your fault nor is it your country's fault it's pretty much the fault of people not addressing "Climate Change" years ago and presently (our current govt as an example) climate change deniers. I keep wondering why, if we can see it why can't everyone. I'm sure those that deny truly don't give a crap about the beautiful countrysides with lots of trees!
Im so sorry you are suffering again. Back in the early 80s I drove for hours through a fire ravaged area in Ontario into Manitoba. Living in Southern California all my life I’d seen large areas burned but nothing like this. So much is lost in these mega fires now.
Thank you so much for adding back the free content. I love Canada, and I love your work. I wish I could afford to be one of your paid subscribers. With Trump trying to take away my Social Security - Enough said, I'm sure you understand my predicament. :-)
Canada @ 40.1 million people over 3.8 million square miles...........
California @ 39.5 million people over 163,696 square miles.............
good luck..............
FIRE is a four letter word.

Be safe out there, everyone.
Love this.
And just like that we're back to hazy skies in the USA from the wildfires in Canada!
Yes sorry. We have a lot of trees.
Considering the recent US behavior, this counterattack is overly "nice."

Hey Michael. I am a paid subscriber and I didn't get this.
Yeah. We here in MN feel your pain! And now we get your smoke too 😉.
