I'm an independent leaning left on a number of issues, but I felt the pain when Trump said, “ I HATE DEMOCRATS !!!”

I LOVE the tomato pincushion. My grandmother was a seamstress at Elizabeth Arden in NYC. We had a largish tomato and a smaller tomato pincushion.

Yes, Trump’s whole purpose for living is to get back at anyone who has ever humiliated him. Thin-skinned man.

I have my mother's 'tomato' pincushion. I keep it in my decades old sewing box. Never thought I'd ever hear anyone mention them. Funny that the link would be Trump! \\GACK!//

Trump makes good on what he ran his campaign on--Revenge against perceived political enemies.

Will he ever run out of hate?

We were all warned that this term of the presidency would be the “Retribution Term.”

Speaking of revenge: I had occasion to reluctantly cross the border from Canada to the US this week. The wait time was staggering, hours and hours, even though the lines weren’t all that long. In fact with big lines, the guards started closing their kiosks till only 2 remained open. Drivers scrambled to push into other lines. Then it hit me: all the cars I could see had Washington plates: they had been in Canada during the July 1-5 week and were on their way home! They were being endlessly questioned, delayed. Punished. When I joined the line the wait time was 90 minutes- it actually took 3 1/2 more hours to cross! Other observations I had: numerous Americans were visible minorities: Chinese, Japanese, Muslim. I have no doubt these Americans were pressured about having visited Canada. When it came to my turn the surly and aggressive border guard demanded to know how I knew my hosts on the US side, how could I have US friends, and further he criticized my passport saying it didn’t look like me. As I said, it’s a 10 year passport, my hair has changed colour… It was the most disrespectful crossing ever. Ultimately I feel the US travellers were being punished with the long waits and grilling, for being in Canada. 🍁 for me, disgusting

Sometimes there is much coincidence in my life to your art postings Michael. Yesterday I watched the film Sinners and was reminded that those who wield the power are often pricked.
