My hair bleaches out in the summer also........:>) What's that hole in his skull about?

I remember Quebec i.e. Montreal, from a trip there in the mid '60s, a beautiful city, young at heart, with so many couples walking hand in hand, a very welcome refreshment, similar to a train trip to Mt. Fuji and and seeing how the seats faced each other, as if to acknowledge and affirm our humanity, rather than looking at the back of a fellow travelers head. Two distinct memories of 'the way it should be'. moment.

The hole? Trepanning. Medicine's earliest tool for everything from headaches to evil spirits. Usually ended in death.

Trump said that many, many saints had holes in their heads and that's why they called them holy saints.

The hole probably has something to do with why they made him a Saint.

First, I love the poster for the ACC/AECC Convention & the idée to use it as a tableau for cartooning by each of you. I can actually identify some of the work by their style!

The best way to see anywhere is by car, train, or bicycle (if you're fit). You're right, since 9/11 flying has become an expensive obstacle course. Unless 1st Class is feasible, juste dissez non!

I try to learn something new every day & you offered me today's factoid! I didn't know the world's longest covered bridge is here, in Canada. Sadly, I'm Canadian but know nothing of New Brunswick, save that an old friend was from Bathurst. As for salt & pepper or mostly salt, you look great! Considering you're 20 years younger than myself, I'll comment no further! :)

Salut a tous à la convention!

A bientôt,

How beautiful - all your photos! And yes, flying bites! I've driven cross-country in the US four times, and it's always amazing to me when I see the wide-open spaces. Traveling like this helps clear the cobwebs from the brain and revitalize my joie de vivre.
