That’s just about right. He’s just hoping for one violent demonstration to declare martial law. He has absolutely I idea what he’d be unleashing.

I agree. Those tanks rolling into DC will certainly come in handy when he declares martial law.

Chillingly true...I always knew this was coming after no real consequences for Jan. 6th. As soon as he was re-elected I knew the Neo-Nazi playbook would come to fruition. Watching in horror from Canada...I'm old enough to recall my sorrow seeing Kent State when I was 17. Keep up the peaceful demonstrations FREE citizens of USA. Ghandi, MLK, and John Lewis are proud of you.

I just feel so sorry for that poor country! The good guys have nowhere to turn - the rule of law seems to have just gone and the free press is being threatened (CBS, NPR), and now we have a version of the Brownshirts..

Catherine, I'm living in New Hampshire, U.S.A., w/resolve, rage, and faith in our resilience. The whole world now knows the US government can't be trusted, but DON'T underestimate Americans: We the People. "We" ARE the USA. Trump's 'brown shirts' can't kill all of us! In polling, "We" are the overwhelming (70%) majority squaring off w/our own government. NO ONE wants what is likely (imminently) ahead, in pockets of the USA. Whatever and however it lies before us, We the People will preserve the mix of who we are to last another 249 years

as the USA: a Democracy.

Again, as you always do show what the USA is all about with your political satire. " The USA is a true fascist state with a ulltimate dictator, TRUMP. With your political satire sketch you show what the USA has become, "" 1939 nazi Germany"" 21st century style. Few words are needed with your sketch, it is loud and clear, to the point. God help the Western Democratic world. Well done MdA!!

Setting up L.A. communities to react to ICE orders, and sending National Guard troops to create an explosive atmosphere of strength by the piggish megalomaniac and his equally racist 'intimates' is ONE of Trump's dangerously brainless ideas of leadership: which he stupidly assumes makes him look invincible. This is one more gawdawful occasion of his FLAMING INCOMPETENCE and PURE EVIL. Mr. Trump's baseless, abusive, dishonest, racist, self-promoting orders are dwarfed by his singular and thoroughly SMUG STUPIDITY and PUTRID SOUL.

I don't think it was Trump's idea. I think Stephen Miller is pulling those strings. But of course, it appealed to Drump.

A cartoon I’d have never imagined 15 years ago. But in reality, if we’d had better glasses, this started with Nixon and Ford pardoning him. Then Ronny Raygun and on and on. I do wonder how all those responsible for this destruction live with themselves. Will their money shield them? At some point won’t they feel some consequence?

A cartoon I wish weren’t true.
