I wish I could feel sorrier for them than I do. They were warned, and they voted for him anyway. They bet on the liar. Hate to see how so many people are suffering now because of one man.

Al Gorythm's avatar

Not only did they vote for him anyway, many farmers voted for him three times!

When it comes to farming, Trump doesn’t know facts from fertilizer.

Jeffrey Pinhey's avatar

He’s full of one. Void of the other.

It’s very apparent from his breath.

I truly hope I never have to verify that.

Big Ag will be there to scoop up the family farms. I'm sure they don't see the tariffs as a problem but as a near-term buying opportunity. Oh yeah, another excellent cartoon!

Dumb ass farmers who voted for their own demise.

None of us are benefitting from the suffering-- financial and otherwise-- of the nation's farmers and farming communities. Farmers aren't the only ones who are becoming the victims of the concentration of wealth. Trump is certainly the main face of that suffering, but he isn't the only cause of it.

The foreclosure I'm waiting for is TRUMP in the White House!!

Audrey Eve's avatar

Yes, that would be our dear leader, totally clueless and equally incapable of empathizing with the (angry) hordes of farmers, who helped put him back in the White House.

The farmers continue to lose farms from their horrible decision of supporting the orange stain's lies. They didn't learn absolutely anything from his last term in office.

I agree with J. Rock and Dennis Reynolds' take: foreclosures and thus concentration of wealth, actually T is not so clueless. It's a part of his fascist master plan.

And around and around the trump circus goes. Impose tariffs, get counter tariffed and terminate world food aid. Then use his tariff tax revenue to bail out farmers. What a plan from a not so stable genius. Farmers that don't farm are actually unhappy struggling farmers.

I had forgotten about the world food aid. Thank you for reminding us readers.

Trump is completely insane. He has no understanding about the difficulties his goofy tariffs are causing the USA.

And on another issue-the highest rate of suicides in the farming community is occurring now. The male members of the community are hesitant and unfamiliar with asking for outside help. Some members of the community are trying to develop methods to erase the stigma of emotional support. Thank you Fuhrer Trump.

I am subscribed to "Successful Farming". Articles about suicide amongst farmers are more numerous.

Foreclosures. The disappearance of the small farmer, the increase of the agro-industry.

Dumber than a box of rocks!

Fools. Double fools. The writing was on the walls in his first term.
