This week alone, he made a series of controversial and misleading statements, once again calling COVID-19 the "China virus," predicting World War III, mispronouncing Kamala Harris' name, and continuing to downplay the January 6th insurrection. Despite these blunders and blatant falsehoods, he remains just behind the Democratic nominee in the polls, with ABC News' 538 projecting Harris leading 48.4% to Trump's 46.3%. At a town hall in Pennsylvania, after two supporters fainted, Trump responded by dancing for nearly 40 minutes to his favorite songs, turning the moment into a bizarre spectacle rather than addressing the situation seriously. His erratic behavior suggests he’ll say whatever it takes, no matter how far from the truth, in a final push to win.
In my heart, I believe Kamala will triumph. But reading things like Elmo is giving $100 to PA voters who sign his petition worries the fuck out of me. Isn’t that illegal? Why isn’t he being stopped or arrested?
