Exactly! Unfortunate but very true. Another great graphic.

With the Orange Buffon in charge, you can never trust the cover story.

James Donald Bowman is the name that appears on J. D. Vance’s birth certificate.

After his parents divorced and mother remarried, his name was changed to James David Hamel.

In 2013, he changed his name to James David Vance to honor his maternal grandmother.

According to AP News, in 2021, he dropped the periods from his initials (formerly J.D.) for his political career.

So does he have to show all the paperwork for every name change going back to his original birth certificate to vote or is that just a requirement for women?

Surely , according to the maga-gop gospel, this man is not eligible to vote as he cannot show a proof of identity showing his name at birth.

I concur. Does that also include Trump using the name Baron ? There was one report he even signed that name to a document in support of Trump . Something about vouching for his character for acquiring building materials on credit - I don't recall any other particulars or if it was even investigated .

Congratulations on the Order of Canada. It is well deserved.

Voting is just like driving.

If you want to go backwards choose “R”.

If you want to forward choose “D”.

This is so perfect, it could be a pin. I live in MA and it is against the law for an election worker to ask for Identification at the election polls

They say be careful what you wish for. This could backfire "bigly," to use one of Trump's words, especially in red, rural America, where getting to the polls and showing proof of citizenship could prove to be difficult and yield negative results.

The covered book should be “How to steal an election because you know you can’t win” This goes for all of Congress since donnie legally can’t run again and I hope The Supreme Court prevents it. I think he and his family have grifted enough money to enrich themselves for life.

The only thing it might save is Trumps ass from being Impeached!

also by making proof of eligibility to vote more difficult.

there'd also been talk about how Project 2025 wants to disenfranchise women from voting when their marital last name doesn't match the name on their birth certificate

forcing US citizens to jump through hoops, spend time and money to claim their Constitutional right to vote

a Poll Tax in disguise - that specifically targets women and lower income US citizens

I’ve read that the SAVE the REPUBLICANS ACT will likely fail; I certainly hope so!

Sad that the ones who need to know won't open the book

You are spot on, on this one! I hope the Senate holds! And if our leader doesn't sign anything else til he's out of office I truly will not care!

Save whom? They did this to themselves. Your Order of Canada, most well deserved.
