We love our Canadian neighbors, but Minnesotans are very happy that the US Women's hockey team be them for the Gold. :-) Heaven knows we need something to be happy about. ICE is still here disrupting our lives. :-(

Canadians willingly celebrate two great women’s hockey teams and the U.S. team’s hard earned victory. If their gold medal performance comforts Minnesotans in this awful time, we’re doubly happy for you.

Thank you and right back at you. I'm so sorry that the idiot in charge here is trying destroy our cross the border friendship. I grew up in Michigan and I'm appalled that the orange guy is trying to stop the Gordie Howe bridge. My childhood family crossed the border by the Ambassador Bridge and both the Detroit to Windsor tunnel and bridge. As an adult, I also visited Quebec and Toronto. I've always thought Canada to be a wonderful neighbor. By the way, my husband and I visited Vancouver and think it is a great city.

After the absolutely thrilling women’s hockey final, the men have a hard act to follow!

No pressure, dudes!

After 47's interaction with the US Men's team, I saw a comment that sums it up

"Won gold, lost respect" followed by someone else's "Canada showed much more class"

In the human race, Canada won.

Not really accurate.... he missed free-style skiing (5 medals), short track skating (5 medals), speed skating (5 medals), and curling (2 medals, including Gold today for Jacobs). Women hockey player still won a silver medal too.
