My US Election cartoons for 2020
History could repeat itself again.
Leading up to the vote in 2020 felt similar to now.
Remembrance Day came but the election was what was on most people’s minds.
Voting day came and Donald Trump Lost.
This was my main cartoon by the end of the day.
This was my backup idea that I ended up drawing as well.
The next day in the Chronicle Herald this ran. John McCain and John Lewis fist bumping each other.
Then the days of drama took over. Trump claimed to have won.
It got silly.
I imagined how Anthony Fauci felt.
It ended the way this electioncould end. With Trump demanding to stop the count.
I loved them all but my faves were - your Remembrance Day cartoon where you called DonOld a fascist before anyone else, the one with John McCain and John Lewis made tears of joy come to my eyes, and little Donny going down the toilet...this year it should really happen because he'll go to jail and be too old to ever run again!
While these are all tremendous cartoons, I especially love the McCain-Lewis cartoon.
