Platner is far from flawless -- as are we all. (I remember meeting a few people who thought they were perfect; I don't remember liking any of them.) I'd like to have a better candidate, but in my opinion, Platner is head and shoulders above any candidate who would be endorsed by Trump.

The Republicans seem to value any kind of degeneracy in their candidates. It looks like Trump backed Paxton because he IS blatantly corrupt.
