Having just spent July 4th on Vancouver Island made the holiday feel rather surreal.
The sadness here is quite palpable; we can no longer take our holiday spirit for granted, as Trump keeps putting his disastrous thumbprint everywhere and ruining everything in his wake.
Due to a shortage of Independence, the 4th of July has been moved to November 5th.
I spent the day looking for The Islamic Republic of Japan on the Map.
